MATERNITY SESSION

Pregnancy is a very special time. Woman body is going through a lot of changes. It is growing little human! Capturing pregnant ladies is absolutely amazing and delightful time. As every child is a blessing, every pregnancy is the treasure, we never know if this will be our very last or may be just a first one, memories captured will stay with you , but most importantly with your child forever.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY MATERNITY SESSION?
​
As soon as you decide to have one. Ladies often book as soon as after first trimester to secure the space. Session will take place between week 32 and week 36. This is where belly is at its fullest. As many parents are working, the weekend sessions are most requested. Booking in the advance will guarantee the time and date convenient to you.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU?
​
Black and white underwear.
Something special you wish to have memories with, eg. baby first teddy.
Mum-to-be doesn't need any clothing unless its something special, Feather and moss Photography has beatuful selection of maternity dresses, gowns, outfits, flower halos and props needed to capture those beautiful moments. Daddy will need to dress himself - please visit here :

WHAT TO EXPECT

Session takes about 1-2h. You can choose the place - my studio, outdoor or comfort of your own home. During the session I will capture images of mum-to-be on her own, with the husband/partner as well as with children, if there are any. There is no additional fee on family images. Mum-to-be will change outfits few times ( normally 2-3 times) to create full gallery of beautiful images.
OUTDOOR SESSION

If you decide for outdoor session I will suggest the location depending on current season. Its always around Manchester. If you have a dream to be photographed on the beach or in any other unique place, Feather and moss Photography will be more than happy to fulfil your need and make dreams come true. For Location farer than 10 miles , comuting fee of 40 pence per mile will apply.
Mum-to-be will be changing dresses and outfits the same like in studio, the "dignity protective" tent will be provided for mum-to-be comfort and Magdalena Kolakowska as a female photographer will be on stand by to help with dressing.

"I'M TOO BIG FOR THE PHOTO SESSION"
( acne, stretch marks, size problems)

This is very often objection. "I don't feel good about myself". We all know woman body changes during pregnancy. Some ladies stay slim, some put some weight on , some put bit more weight on; some ladies have acne due to hormone storm within the body; some ladies have streach marks, some have alot some less, some non at all. Those are not an issue. I'm trained and knowlegable how to capture all sizes of human body in the most flattering angle. Skin problems will be edited in postprocessing ( unless stated otherways, as some ladies loves streach marks and are very confident about their body). Every mum-to-be deserve beautiful keepsake, as well as every child deserve to have they beloved mum captured with them, from very first moment of their together journey. One day they will wipe their tears looking at those photographs with their own children.

CAN OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS COME ALONG TO OBSERVE THE SESSION?
​
Due to limited space only close family so Mum-to-be, partner and children, if you would like to bring for example Grandmother or other relative please discuss it prior session.​​
